PEM Requests
Processing certificate requests in the EJBCA CA UI can use either binary or PEM format certificate requests.
If you receive a binary request and want to convert it to PEM, do the following:
Base64 encode the request according to the following example and refer to the source input and destination output filenames:
openssl base64 -in MY.cvreq -a -out MY.cvreq.pem
In the beginning of the file, add -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE REQUEST----- and at the end of the file, add -----END CERTIFICATE REQUEST-----according to the following example:
